Introduction to production (performance day )

    Our first performance had finally come , the hole process  was very different compared to what am used to doing in secondary .   We had the option to choose what our own  play is about  and we had to write our own scripts .     The  play was about romance  tragedy and war ,   i played the role as the fiance and the nurse. The idea of having two roles was hard at first but I learnt my lines and my character .    Since as the play was made up it was easier to understand the character because we already had a mindset how we would want them to be .   Me as the fiancé had started off in the begging off the play very shy and  flirty .   This was because I was being introduced to an ex lover and was nervous to reconnect contact with them . How I played that role was mainly by using a lot of body language I had to Be very close with Jacob in the play .    And show a lot of care towards him , this took a lot of time to work on during rehearsals .   My second role as the nurse had to be very clusmy .   I made  a lot of mistake and was told off by his granddaughter each time she visits .     The 

Introduction peace

 In lesson we  rehearsed  our first two opening scene,   which is about  Jacob who plays the role of the grandad .   Laying in bed while his grand daughter visit him .   How we set up the opening scene  was by using 5 black chairs to make out as a bed and have a normal chair by the side of the bed .        The style of how we wanted to lay out the play was very plain we couldn't use a lot of  props because the college didn't have what we wanted  .    But we had to mime any prop we didn't have for example , with me i had to play more than one role . Where i had to be both nurse and the  fiance , whilst being the nurse i had to mime most of the equipment a nurse would have and make it look believable i was a nurse .    

 The weakness we had during rehearsals  that  we mainly need to work on  are  eye contact and body languages .  We need  to use eye contact so that the audience can see that we are playing  the character in the moment .  Mainly when me and Jacob are on stage because we have a bit of romance  between one another so we need to show the audience that . This would be  easier  by our body language and facial expressions , This was difficult  for me because i didn't feel comfortable  being close to Jacob or any other person .  

 When it comes to our acting it was very poor as to why we Needed to improve on it . The skills  we included would make our acting more better and look more believable towards the audience  . I felt like that was needed the most because I personally didn't like the idea of being so close to someone and found it very uncomfortable . I also found it best we work on in as a group so It wouldn't be Awkward on stage .  How  I was able to put those thoughts aside  and carry on working with Jacob . Was by behaving mature about the situation , why I done this was because I would love to be a actress in the future and this would help me in future . Because I may also be in the same situation or maybe worst and would have to put up with it .

 
   This would be useful in the future because there would be  many other different genres when it comes  to acting such as horror , romance , comedy   and ect     

In dance we worked on miming we done some dance routine using miming . This will help me during my performance  where i would have to mime picking up something or using it

In tutorial we had a cover teacher  name  Mike .

We discussed about our opinion on extremism and our thoughts , then we talked about terrorism  after that we had an class debate .
The class debate had began on what we all thought extremism is  from the top of our head , i  didn't have no idea what it was so i barely shared my opinion .   He  told us what it is and how it effected people .    the word extremism is when a person who holds extreme or fanatical political or religious views, especially one who resorts to or advocates extreme action .   We looked back to how the kkk  were and how the Muslims were discriminated  because of the religion .    
   For example this picture shows the thoughts the public had against the female Muslims , because they had to wear a hijab which is apart of there religion    they were accused of being terrorism .

After that we had rob we worked on our plays and learned our lines what went well was our  communication  skills we discussed with each other what we think about certain stuff in play and stuff were not comfortable doing

 our rehearsal could of been better if we knew our lines so that we work on extra parts on our play
