I have great Speaking and listening skills  I am very honest and independent. I am also someone you can rely on if you would need a help in workwise, I have multiple skills for different types of jobs.

I am very open minded and I get along with various amounts of people I am confident with communicating and team work. I am also very trust worthy and responsible for looking after people’s belongings.                                                                                                                                         

I had a lot of help with these skills on my work experience back in secondary.  My placement was in a Nursery which my main tasks were to supervise the children and make sure they were safe.  I am also very organized and on time to any appointment’s or lessons due .

perfromance day our day out unit 6

 The day began with the hole class rehearsing  our  play in the theatre so  we could have a mindset of how the play may look .  The rehearsals  were very smooth we all remembered our lines . However we all kept coming out of role by laughing at our mistakes , but on the other hand everything else was good . The costumes for the plays  from the costume room in the theatre , they were very plain and simple for the audience to understand which  character is who .  I wore a plane green blazer to represent i was the bus driver . The school children  wore white t-shirts  and the teachers played by Remal and Sawar both were dressed smartly in there blazers and ties . The lolly pop man played by Obafemi  who  was in a white t-shirt and tie . 

  The role i was given was a little bit challenging but  i  worked on my lines and  learnt more about my character .

My character was a typical bus driver who didn't  like school going  on to there bus , why? well because these school kids were always loud unruly and always brought the wrong stuff onto my bus . Stink bomb lemonade and chocolate a load of rubbish that causes  lot of mess . I  was very cruel selfish to these since as i didn't want them on my bus .  

 How the performance went ? i felt as if we did really good as a class we all  was very confident on stage and played our roles very good . We also helped each other out if  we had forgotten  a line without embarrassing each other .                                                                                                                                                                       i personally  felt  the play was very boring and childish i didn't like the play at first but that was until   went over it the more i become to enjoy it and understated why we did certain things  .   Whiles performing on  stage i was very nervous at first i felt as if i was going to mess up , but the audience was very supportive so that helped gain my confident .  The dance we did at the end was  very messy and needed a bit  more practice on it ,

   Our main weakness would have to be the dance we performed at the end which was horrible . We practice the dance for awhile and still couldn't get it right .  the main problem was being on the same pace which is  something we all couldn't do . During the performance i was looking around trying to see if i was doing the same thing as everyone else . Which didn't help me because that had made me loose focus and finish the dance before everyone else . 


 the straightness we had throughout the performance was teamwork although the dance didn't go well we still carried on as a team . We also have good listening skills because we  were all listening to one another whilst being on stage on was concentrating very well .Our best scene would have to be the scene where Yasmine was about to jump off the bridge . It was very dramatic and over the top  which was the aim for the play .  Also the scene were  i  have been asked to pull over  the bus , was really dramatic like how we practice in Mandy lesson . 


This performance will definitely help me in the future if i was to work in a theatre in future  the more am on stage  the more i personally learn something new. Also the classes we had with Mandy were very helpful when it came to movements which is the main thing she taught us . 

Thursday 16th unit 9

 Thursday morning we had both Rebecca   And Mandy we had a short lesson working on our dance .   The process doing this was very long and tricky , it was very hard because we had to work as a class to make sure we was all moving to the beat at the same time . 

 We done this so that our peace would look very neat and presentable . I found that lesson very challenging because it took while before we got a hook of it . The skills I had to use were both speaking and listening skills but mainly listening . I had to make sure I was paying attention and was moving my feat to each beat on time .   The most part we. Had trouble with was the begging of our dance were we had to stand with our feat in parrelle line majority of the class found this tricky a few time because we dont normally stand like that . But we all got a hang of it and learnt our routine successfully . This will help me in the future with my team work skills and communication skills .

Thursday evening we  worked on our play "our day out"  the acting skills i  have developed  are mainly miming , gestures  and facial expressions .                                                                                                                          We use this mainly when  the kids are on the bus , i do this by pretending i have a  steering wheel in front of me . While  the children on the bus have to sway side to side  to make it look realistic .  We also use a lot of gestures in our play for example when obefemi  who plays the role as the lolly pop man has to pretend he has the lolly pop stick in his hands . Also when they're in the sweet shop  they have to pretend they are actually giving them sweets . 

 I  found linking the acting with dance /physical work with Mandy very useful because it helps us all individually with the roles we have to play . I  have  explored the characterisation and approached the role to assisted with the performing element , i know how to play my role right and i understand why what i do because it shows how my character would normally react .   Movement classes with Mandy has been  very helpful because we work on all the extra stuff that need improvement , for example last week Tuesday we worked on the  the actors face expression body languages .

Today in lesson we watched a clip called picture innocent the clip was mainly about a young teenager girl and a nude of her and her boyfriend was sent around . Throughout the clip it mainly shows how the mum felt about the situation she tried her best to resolve the situation but it kept getting worse. My finally opinion on the show was that it was very long and boring . I think  the daughter (Ruby) was the person sending around the photos , this was because she didn't get much drama during school or at home . So she felt like she sending the photo around would draw a lot  of attention from everyone.  She also showed her true colours throughout the clip when she started receiving friend request on   social media she seemed very happy as if she just accomplish something so that is why i believe it was her .
