Mandys lesson unit 6

In  lesson we had a discussion about  why we think its important for an actor to be fit .  I personally think actors should be  fit because  most actors are active  so being fit will help  them .    We then done some  workouts such as planks  were you have to hold your body weight up for 30 seconds .  
  The benefits of doing planks would give you a toned belly , Planking will help build your deep inner core muscles that lay the groundwork for that six-pack look. As your abdominal muscles become stronger, your mid-section will tighten..

  We also done some push up  which i found very difficult  because i hardly ever work out .  Doing push ups you had to mainly use your upper body and push your body going up and down .  The benefits of doing push ups are an improvement within your posture  Whether you sit at a computer all day or simply ignored the nagging recommendations from your mother or teachers, improper posture can destroy your health and comfort as you age. One of the most common reasons for a lack of proper posture is weak core muscles.

In order to properly hold your shoulders and back, your entire core must be strong enough to support its vertical positions. When push ups are properly executed, the muscles responsible for supporting posture are strengthened and fine-tuned. Moreover, as you regularly engage in push ups, your body will naturally lean toward proper posture. This is one of the most influential passive benefits of push ups.

   We then ended the lesson off by  doing some stretching this is to help us  to prevent any pain for the day after or if you have pulled any muscle . These workout could be useful too do in the future as a actor to stay fit . Actors would defiantly have to stay fit so if they was on stage they wouldn't look tired or anything . For example if you was to  do musical theater   you would need a lot of energy because you  have to  both sing and act at the same time .    You would see this if a actor would be singing and running at the same time a normal actor that doesn't work out would probably be out of breathe but if you work out and keep fit you wouldn't be as tired and your posture would be amazing .  

This can be useful in the future  if i was to do musical theater or work in  a theater  which is something i would  try  doing in the future .     I would also be comfortable singing and dancing at the same  time if i keep my fitness up  .
