PERFROMANCE (unit 3 road )

We performed a   duologue  based upon a young couple who  is having a  debate in there room the role i played  was the girlfriend . My role wasn't easy i found it very  difficult to play my role because i didn't understand my script well .   I learnt  my lines more  and  i read the stage directs which was very helpful , the more i kept reading them the more it begin to help .  Not  only my lines but also my movements within the play   . During the performance and the previous rehearsal we had before the performance .  I was disappoint in how Mauribah had played his role which I felt like wasn't good enough the character he had . He didn't show any love towards my character and I think he found it did difficult to play that role .  Which also made it hard for me to flirt with him during the play and he wouldn't respond to it correctly . Other than that the play went well the stage was set up just how we had practice the day before in the theatre .   What i felt like was my weakness in the play was flirting because that's someone I'm bad at personally and didn't know how to play the role correctly . But I tried my best to play the role as good as possible but didn't feel comfortable doing that role .   My strength was mainly confidence on stage i kept my head up and looked in the audience direction which is something j normally find difficult . In future I would like to be able to take on any role and play it confidently without thinking to much how I would look to others . The most ie learnt from this Performance was here to be confident and not to rush your lines cause it wouldn't sound like there's an actual meaning to the words am saying 

I would use this method most likely everytime am on stage performing .My thoughts and opinion on the play was very boring it didn't have much to it but despite that I learnt to how plays character a lot better and started to enjoy the play a bit more once I understand why and what everything was said from time to time .
